Dionysus Fraternity

The Dionysus Fraternity is as old as the college itself, possibly older. They maintain that their traditions are tied to ancient pagan rites, though it's unclear how much of if it is a excuse to have drunken fuck parties with a fertility cult veneer. Their approach to sexuality is extremely liberated yet also extremely ritualized.

They make their own wine on the house grounds, sometimes with unusual additives to heighten the transcendent experience. They hold certain parties open to the whole college, often to cruise for potential ritual targets or just to get laid, while others are highly secretive and restricted only to fraternity members.

For some reason the administration seems to believe the frat and its rituals are key to the success of the college. As an example, the 'wild hunts', where frat members dress as dogs to hunt down other members dressed as rabbits or deer, are believed to bring luck during the sports season. This means the frat can get away with a lot of deeply weird behavior without repurcussions, especially since most of the members also seem to believe in its vaguely mystical traits.

While the fraternity population is mostly cisgender men, they do accept trans men and women. Women in the frat frequently dress and present as men during 'ritual' events, while new pledges or those chosen as the 'center' of a ritual may often dress and present as women.

Salmacis - Profile and Kinks

Salmacis is a water nymph shapeshifter and trickster who delights in playing with people's desires. Sexual desires are some of the most interesting, of course, but she also manages a cake shop for days when she wants to have a relaxing bask in gluttony instead. One of her favorite games is swapping bodies with someone, changing a target's sex, or using hallucinations and trickery to expose hidden desires. She rarely desires to be cruel, mostly just to mess with people, but rarely takes responsibility for the brief chaos she puts in others' lives.

Age and Origins: Unknown (but definitely 'adult').

Power Set
Note: All powers that affect others are temporary, usually wearing off within the hour. While Salmacis can 'refresh' the changes and restart the clock she prefers not to. After an hour it just gets dull.

Shapeshifting: Salmacis can change her body shape and does so quite frequently. Physically her sex can be male, female, some mix of both, or something inhuman enough that those terms don't matter. Her pronouns are "she/her/hers" regardless of what she happens to look like at the time, but she is uncomfortable staying in the same shape for too long. She has no 'true form' that she knows of.
Shifting Others: Salmacis can also change the shape of others temporarily, and particularly delights in swapping around sex or sexual characteristics. Sometimes it's for actual sex, sometimes it's just to be confusing to them.
Desire Shifting: While Salmacis's hypnotism abilities can't change a person's self-perception or personality, she can change what it is they want and how badly they want it. Example: A detail-fixated physics nerd who hates football will suddenly want nothing more than to throw the pigskin around, but remains a total nerd who won't shut up about the football's aerodynamics.
Hallucinations: Salmacis can cause people to experience realistic delusions that not only make themselves percieve to be in a different situation, but also make them accept it without question. Example: A delusion that you are at a football game will make you not only hear the roar of the crowd but also forget that you didn't actually decide to go to a football game today.

Note: Salmacis is based on, but not the same person as, the mythological being featured in Ovid's Metamorphoses.

Various Character Profiles

The Scientist
The being referred to as The Scientist exists outside of gender, sexuality, and most organic-based concepts known to humans and those on a similar level to humans. This distance contributes to its fascination with how organic beings operate. In particular the Scientist is interested in the many complicated forms of sexuality and its expression, and uses its advanced technological abilities to pursue a wide range of experiments. It does try to get the consent of those it experiments upon, but when you're a higher level being with a lot on your mind you can sometimes forget to give your subjects all the details before the experiments get rolling.

Lab Assistants:
The Scientist's lab assistants/servants/henchpersons are motivated by a combination of scientific curiosity and freewheeling kinkiness. They are also subjects of the Scientist's tinkering, though they'd prefer to call themselves 'beneficiaries'. They frequently change their physical makeup, sometimes having a combination of sex characteristics physically impossible for a natural-born human. The Scientist's advanced technology makes these changes almost as simple as switching out a piercing. Outside of whatever orders they've been given on experimental structure, they tend to be pretty easygoing and open to new ideas.

Salmacis is a shapeshifter and trickster who delights in playing with people's desires.
